⚠️ Important: What You'll Lose
When you delete your YappRoom account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your profile (nickname, date of birth, profile settings)
- All your YAP sessions and conversation history
- FAYR coins and reward balances
- Streak progress and achievements
- Referral codes and referral bonuses
- Leaderboard rankings and statistics
- Persona unlocks and preferences
- Voice DM conversations and recordings
- All associated user data
🔒 This Action is Permanent
Account deletion cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted:
- You cannot recover your data, coins, or conversation history
- Your referral code will be deactivated
- Users who joined with your referral code will keep their bonuses, but you'll lose yours
- You'll need to create a new account to use YappRoom again
📝 How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Delete from Mobile App
- Open the YappRoom app
- Tap your Profile icon (top right)
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to Account Management
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm your decision
- Enter your password (if required)
- Tap Permanently Delete Account
Option 2: Request Deletion via Email
If you can't access the app, email us at:
support@yapproom.com
Include in your email:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Your registered email address or phone number
- Your nickname (if you remember it)
- Brief reason for deletion (optional)
We'll process your request within 48 hours and send a confirmation email.
⏳ Grace Period
After initiating deletion, you have a 7-day grace period to change your mind:
- Your account will be temporarily deactivated
- After 7 days, deletion becomes permanent
- To cancel deletion, simply log back in during this period

- Turn off all notifications temporarily
- Stay registered but take a break from active use
