Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our app, website (www.yapproom.com), and all services including AI features, challenges, FAYR Coin, leaderboards, and referral programs. By using YappRoom, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

For the current phase, users must meet the following criteria to qualify for payouts without additional guardian consent:

• Age requirement: must be at least 18 years of age.
• Birth window: your date of birth must fall between January 1, 1992 and December 31, 2007.
• Account status: you must be a verified human user with an active account in good standing.

If you were born after December 31, 2007, you may still use YappRoom with parental consent, but you are not eligible for this specific payout category at this time.

2. User accounts

• You are responsible for your account and for keeping login details confidential.
• Provide accurate, updated information during registration and use.

3. Challenges, rewards & leaderboards

YappRoom runs regular engagement programs:

• Top Yappers Leaderboard — daily, weekly, monthly rewards
• Yapp Streak Challenge — rewards for consistent daily use
• Referral Program (Yapp & Earn) — refer friends and earn
• Vibe Score and authenticity metrics may influence rewards

4. FAYR Coin

• FAYR Coins are in-app rewards earned through conversations, quests, and achievements.
• Coins can be used to unlock premium features.
• FAYR Coins are not redeemable for cash or any other equivalent, unless explicitly stated in future updates.

5. YappWolf game

• YappWolf is an interactive social deduction game where users may join rooms, complete role-based actions, and compete individually or in teams.
• YappRoom may offer different formats including solo, multiplayer, AI-assisted, practice, or reward-based events.
• Any points, rankings, FAYR Coins, rewards, or incentives are subject to game rules, anti-abuse systems, and YappRoom's verification processes.
• Users must not cheat, collude unfairly, exploit bugs, use automation, create fake accounts, or manipulate outcomes.
• In case of disputes relating to gameplay, eliminations, rewards, or leaderboard positions, YappRoom's decision shall be final.
• YappWolf is provided for entertainment and engagement only and does not yield real-money winnings by itself.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate any laws
• Pretend to be someone else
• Use bots or scripts to game the system
• Post harmful, offensive, or copyrighted content
• Harass or abuse other users
• Cheat, exploit bugs, collude unfairly, or manipulate gameplay, rewards, or leaderboard outcomes
• Use multiple accounts or deceptive methods to gain an unfair advantage

7. Privacy

We collect and use your data per our Privacy Policy. You consent to data collection for app functionality, reward verification, and personalization.

8. Payments & rewards

• Users must submit valid UPI IDs or other approved payment details to claim rewards.
• To verify payment and identity, users may be required to submit any two valid identification documents such as PAN, Aadhaar, or Voter ID.
• In case of technical errors, YappRoom's decision is final.
• Rewards may be delayed or denied if misuse, fraud, or system abuse is suspected.

9. FAYR Cash, referrals, Arena winnings & TDS

Nature of rewards: YappRoom provides two distinct types of cash incentives — promotional incentives (earned via the "Yapp & Earn" Referral Program and Arena Quests) and gaming winnings (earned via competitive leaderboards such as the Daily Mafia Showdown).

Promotional incentives (Section 194R): Users may redeem up to ₹19,999 in promotional FAYR Cash per financial year (April 1 – March 31) via UPI without tax deduction. If total redeemed promotional FAYR Cash reaches or exceeds ₹20,000 in a single financial year, YappRoom is legally mandated to deduct 10% TDS on the entire amount earned that year and on subsequent redemptions.

Online gaming winnings (Section 194BA): Cash prizes won through competitive gameplay or leaderboards are classified as net winnings from online games and are subject to a flat 30% TDS from the first rupee, with no minimum threshold.

KYC and PAN: To process any UPI withdrawal, users must submit valid KYC. If a user fails to provide a valid PAN, YappRoom is required by law (Section 206AA) to deduct TDS at a higher penal rate. YappRoom reserves the right to adjust wallet balances to recover statutory TDS liabilities and to withhold payouts where fraud is suspected.

10. Modifications

We may change these Terms at any time. Continued use means you accept any changes.

11. Termination

We may suspend or delete your account for violations, abuse, or fraud.

12. Disclaimer & liability

YappRoom is provided "as is", without guarantees of uptime or results. We are not liable for app interruptions or for indirect or incidental damages. Our total liability is limited to rewards legitimately owed, if any.

13. Tax liability

Users are solely responsible for their personal income tax filings. YappRoom acts strictly as a deductor as mandated by Indian law and is not liable for disputes regarding TDS amounts deposited against a user's PAN.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu.
